Gustavo and Balsha should have brought flippers and a wetsuit

The weather varied between a drizzle and torrential downpour, leaving the track heavy going for Stall Silverrævens lovely filly Balsha and her field in the Norwegian Oaks. She ran a good race, but didn’t quite have the power for a final spurt in her at the end, finishing out of the money on seventh. It was a tight field only about seven lengths between her and winner Sweet Baby Jane.
