Though the conditions were absolutely awful, Antarktis was a convincing first in the last race of a very, very wet day at Øvrevoll. Thunder, lightning and deluges of rain made the going tough, and she was slow out of the startbox. But by the home straight she was fourth, and Per-Anders placed her by the rail and just rode it home.

Stablemates Pilgrim and Monte Zuma found the going in the Derby Trial a bit too heavy, but Pilgrim in particular ran a good race and we look forward to seeing him race on a faster track. Light The Fire was scratched, and probably enjoyed his dry night in with some hay and oates.
